S.I.D.A. Commits $500K For Streets & Improvements For Inner Harbor DevelopmentPosted: November 14, 2012
“The Syracuse Industrial Development Agency voted Tuesday to pitch in $500,000 to help the city build roads and other public infrastructure in the Harbor West section of the lakefront area.
The agency’s directors voted 5-0 to give the money to the city to construct roads and sidewalks and install water, sewer and drainage lines on the east and west sides of Van Rensselaer Street between West Kirkpatrick and West Bear streets.”
Total amount of infrastructure payments estimated to cost the city $4 million. S.I.D.A. plans to apply for state and federal assistance to pay for the balance.
